DESCRIPTION:Saturdays from 26 July to 23 August\n10am – 12pm\, 2pm – 4pm\nFree\, all welcome\, just drop in \nCAST Cornwall’s summer holiday programme of free artist-led creative activities will return to the walled garden at National Trust Penrose on Saturday 26 July\, with activities also taking place on Saturdays 2\, 9\, 16 and 23 August. Details of the specific activities on offer each day will be announced on CAST’s website and social media in July. \nCAST-Off 2025 is part-funded by Little Parc Owles Trust and FEAST. Donations to support this much loved programme and enable it to keep running are always very welcome.

DESCRIPTION:Roll the Dice Cornwall C.I.C. are delighted to be able to announce our second expo!\nThe South West Cornwall Games Expo will this year be held during the summer at the Light and Life Centre in Helston.\nOne of the key pieces of feedback that we had about our debut expo was that of accessibility. In repsonse to this we have moved venues to the Light and Life centre – a larger venue all on one floor\, with parking on site.\nWe are currently in the process of inviting vendors\, and are also welcoming any applications to vendor too.\nAs with our previous expo\, the mission behind this event is to bring together businesses\, individuals\, groups\, organisations\, creators and anyone who works with in-person gaming. To this end\, we are asking very competitive rates for vendors and we will be keeping the event free for the public to come and visit.\nThere will be 3 areas to this year’s expo:– The open gaming hall. Here we will have our board game library\, along with some game demos\, for anyone to come and try out.– The main hall. Here you will find our wonderful vendors who represent a wide range of businesses\, groups and organisations who represent facets of in-person gaming.– The foyer. Here you will find Roll the Dice’s stall\, and\, more importantly\, information on the event and on RtD’s mission to improve social\, emotional and mental health through in-person gaming.\nA full list of vendors confirmed will be forthcoming!

Company B sure do! \nJoin us on Friday 29th August for an outdoor evening of swing\, swagger & serious fun with the amazing Company B who will be performing at Predannack Anti-Aircraft Battery Museum to kick off our 1940’s weekend of events. \nStep back in time to the 1940’s with a nostalgic and unique evening to kick off the Bank Holiday weekend. Soak up the atmosphere with the museum’s anti-aircraft exhibits perfectly positioned around the site and enjoy an evening of great music\, food and drinks from our NAAFI catering truck and bar. To top off the event we will be firing a WW2 Vickers heavy anti-aircraft gun\, which is the same type of gun\, which was installed at the site during the war\, and probably the only one in the country installed in an original emplacement and in firing condition. \nDig out your best 1940’s costume (optional) and celebrate with family and friends at our Anti-Aircraft Museum with the fabulous Company B. \nCompany B has been bringing big energy and even bigger tunes to stages across the South West (and beyond) for the past 14 years. Their show? A whirlwind of 1940’s sights and sounds\, shaken up with a modern twist. Expect a rock-solid rhythm section\, a blasting horn lineup\, and vocals that bounce between rowdy shouts and silky harmonies.
