Kirsty\, our qualified and experienced instructor\, is great at leading mixed-ability sessions. It’s the perfect chance to try yoga for the first time. \nHowever\, please note: \nIf you’re under the care of a doctor or medical professional\, speak with them before attending. \nIf you’ve been advised not to take part in physical activity\, are pregnant\, or have a medical condition\, illness\, or injury\, please do not take part in Yoga in the Park. \nKirsty cannot offer specific medical advice\, but she ensures plenty of accessible options during the session. \nYoga is a physical activity and you participate at your own risk. \nDo I need to book?No booking needed — just turn up! DESCRIPTION:What is Man Down ??\nWe are here to help reduce the number of male suicides and reduce the stigma surrounding mental health by offering men the space to talk about their emotions. The main way we do this is by facilitating free-to-attend fortnightly informal talking group meetings held at locations all over the UK.\n\nWhat happens at Man Down Helston ??\nEvery two weeks on a Tuesday at 7pm we invite men to come along and talk about their mental health as part of a supportive talking group. By offering the chance to speak and listening to others\, together we break down the stigma associated with talking about our emotions. All attending agree to the sessions being a confidential\, non-judgemental and safe space to share. We also offer social meet ups and an online peer support group for those that have attended a face-to-face talking group meeting.
