DESCRIPTION:Wednesday\, the half-way point of the week! Those who are working\, keep going\, you can do it! \n\nWednesday’s are a super chilled day at Roll the Dice HQ: we have our make\, paint and chill session running from open (10) until 4pm\, allowing lots of time for people to drop in and catch up on their pile of potential. We do ask for £2 for the session to help cover the costs\, including our community paints.\nIn the afternoon we have our Beginner’s Pokémon TCG Session – this is perfect for anyone wanting to learn the game\, hone their deck building skills or perfect their battling technique. The session is £4 for 2 hours of Poke-fun!\n\nFinally\, this evening our Play! Pokemon TCG evening and our Lorcana evening return! Whilst these are official organised play evenings\, you are more than welcome to attend if you are a beginner player of either of these games – both communities are warm\, friendly and welcoming\, with players more than happy to help out those who are starting on their journey. The evening is £2 if you wish to just come and play\, or £6 if you want to grab a booster with the entry ticket.

DESCRIPTION:Roll the Dice Cornwall C.I.C. are delighted to be able to announce our second expo!\nThe South West Cornwall Games Expo will this year be held during the summer at the Light and Life Centre in Helston.\nOne of the key pieces of feedback that we had about our debut expo was that of accessibility. In repsonse to this we have moved venues to the Light and Life centre – a larger venue all on one floor\, with parking on site.\nWe are currently in the process of inviting vendors\, and are also welcoming any applications to vendor too.\nAs with our previous expo\, the mission behind this event is to bring together businesses\, individuals\, groups\, organisations\, creators and anyone who works with in-person gaming. To this end\, we are asking very competitive rates for vendors and we will be keeping the event free for the public to come and visit.\nThere will be 3 areas to this year’s expo:– The open gaming hall. Here we will have our board game library\, along with some game demos\, for anyone to come and try out.– The main hall. Here you will find our wonderful vendors who represent a wide range of businesses\, groups and organisations who represent facets of in-person gaming.– The foyer. Here you will find Roll the Dice’s stall\, and\, more importantly\, information on the event and on RtD’s mission to improve social\, emotional and mental health through in-person gaming.\nA full list of vendors confirmed will be forthcoming!

Regular practice can lead to better sleep\, reduced anxiety\, and improved mood. \nThe South Kerrier Alliance CIC own and run Coronation Park for the “benefit of the residents of Helston and The Lizard” and we want everyone to be able to enjoy our events. \nThe series of Yoga sessions in Coronation Park is being funded by South Kerrier Alliance CIC. Kirsty\, our qualified and experienced instructor\, is great at leading mixed-ability sessions. It’s the perfect chance to try yoga for the first time. \nHowever\, please note: \nIf you’re under the care of a doctor or medical professional\, speak with them before attending. \nIf you’ve been advised not to take part in physical activity\, are pregnant\, or have a medical condition\, illness\, or injury\, please do not take part in Yoga in the Park. \nKirsty cannot offer specific medical advice\, but she ensures plenty of accessible options during the session. \nYoga is a physical activity and you participate at your own risk. \nDo I need to book?No booking needed — just turn up! Please arrive on time as important safety info and the warm-up happen at the start. Latecomers won’t be able to join the session. \nAre families welcome?Yes!
