We cater for everyone who has an interest in speaking another language. \nOrganised by members of Helston and District Town Twinning Association\, there are opportunities to become involved in Helston’s twinning with Sasso Marconi and Plougasnou\, though this is entirely optional! \nThere are regular groups of French\, Italian\, and Spanish speakers\, though we’re always looking to include new languages\, so come along!

Two loops of 5km with stunning views throughout.  \nTrust10 happens on the fourth Sunday of every month and includes two laps of a 5km route at Godolphin\, so 5km runners are welcome too. \nRegistration opens from 8.30am\, pre-run briefing is at 8.55am and the run starts at 9am. \nPlease note: Godolphin garden\, tea-room and outbuildings do not open until 10am. Toilets are open and available for use.

DESCRIPTION:Join Lucy Grant and the CAST learning team in our ground floor studio for a drop-in shadow play workshop. Timed to coincide with the spring equinox\, this hands-on workshop offers lots to learn\, see and do. \nCraft your own articulated spring-themed shadow puppets with guidance from Lucy and team. Then move into the perfect darkness of the black box screening space\, where renowned local puppeteer and animator Mae Voogd will be on hand to help you explore techniques for performing with your creations. \nWe’ll also be showing a shadow play animation by Mae Voogd. DESCRIPTION:We’re saying thank you to National Lottery players with free entry to Godolphin from 15-23 March during normal opening hours. \nBring along proof of purchase of a lottery ticket or scratch card (hard copy or digital) and show to the Welcome team when you arrive at Godolphin. \nOne lottery ticket or scratch card = one lottery ticket equates to one adult entry (and up to 4 children\, under the age of 18). SUMMARY:Helston Café Polyglot
DESCRIPTION:Café Polyglot is a club for people who love foreign languages and would like to practise speaking them with other like-minded people. There are no fees and it is not necessary to be a good linguist; we have speakers at all levels from beginner to fluent. We cater for everyone who has an interest in speaking another language. \nOrganised by members of Helston and District Town Twinning Association\, there are opportunities to become involved in Helston’s twinning with Sasso Marconi and Plougasnou\, though this is entirely optional! \nThere are regular groups of French\, Italian\, and Spanish speakers\, though we’re always looking to include new languages\, so come along!

DESCRIPTION:CAST’s Saturday art sessions for eleven- to sixteen-year-olds are structured around engagement with a wide range of artists\, many of whom have studios at or close links with CAST.\nLed by artist and learning specialist Kate Turner\, Saturday Art Club members meet in a studio at CAST each week to work with artists\, learn new skills\, develop a wide range of projects\, and explore their creativity.\nAll sessions are free with materials provided.\nMorning sessions run from 10.30am to 1pm and afternoon sessions run from 2pm to 4.30pm.\nTo join the Saturday Club or find out more please contact kate@castcornwall.art. \nThis project is funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund
