We do ask for £2 for the session to help cover the costs\, including our community paints.\nIn the afternoon we have our Beginner’s Pokémon TCG Session – this is perfect for anyone wanting to learn the game\, hone their deck building skills or perfect their battling technique. The session is £4 for 2 hours of Poke-fun!\n\nFinally\, this evening our Play! Pokemon TCG evening and our Lorcana evening return! Whilst these are official organised play evenings\, you are more than welcome to attend if you are a beginner player of either of these games – both communities are warm\, friendly and welcoming\, with players more than happy to help out those who are starting on their journey. Company B sure do! \nJoin us on Friday 29th August for an outdoor evening of swing\, swagger & serious fun with the amazing Company B who will be performing at Predannack Anti-Aircraft Battery Museum to kick off our 1940’s weekend of events. \nStep back in time to the 1940’s with a nostalgic and unique evening to kick off the Bank Holiday weekend. Soak up the atmosphere with the museum’s anti-aircraft exhibits perfectly positioned around the site and enjoy an evening of great music\, food and drinks from our NAAFI catering truck and bar. To top off the event we will be firing a WW2 Vickers heavy anti-aircraft gun\, which is the same type of gun\, which was installed at the site during the war\, and probably the only one in the country installed in an original emplacement and in firing condition. \nDig out your best 1940’s costume (optional) and celebrate with family and friends at our Anti-Aircraft Museum with the fabulous Company B. \nCompany B has been bringing big energy and even bigger tunes to stages across the South West (and beyond) for the past 14 years. Their show? A whirlwind of 1940’s sights and sounds\, shaken up with a modern twist. Expect a rock-solid rhythm section\, a blasting horn lineup\, and vocals that bounce between rowdy shouts and silky harmonies. Over the last year\, since her release of her latest album ‘Visions’\, Alex has teamed up with Adam Sweet (Guitarist)\, to bring her songs to life. \n \nFollowing the success of Alex’s debut album\, her voice and musicianship caught the eye of legendary Jethro Tull guitarist Martin Barre\, who asked Alex to be a part of his band as a musician and vocalist for their European and international tour dates. \n \nAlex also collaborates and performs alongside the critically acclaimed Devon-born folk singer Seth Lakeman. Alex is not only a talented vocalist\, but an accomplished musician too\, 2025 is set to be her most successful and exciting year yet.  Supported by local celtic group Ropey Folk.
