DESCRIPTION:Admission £15\, including CAST Café supper from 6pm \nIntroduction and screening\, after supper\, from around 7.15pm\nDavid Lynch’s 1977 dystopian debut Eraserhead tells the story of a young factory worker who discovers unexpectedly that he is to become a father. In typical Lynchian surrealist fashion\, after moving in together the young couple struggle with the challenges and demands of becoming new parents. Lynch described the film as ‘a dream of dark and troubling things’. \nThe film stars Jack Nance\, who would go on to be a long-term collaborator with Lynch through a recurring role as Pete Martell in Twin Peaks. Lynch created the film’s iconic score and sound design\, which echoes the desolate industrial landscape in which the film is set. Despite an initially mixed reception\, Eraserhead is now widely seen as a cult classic and cited by Stanley Kubrick as his favourite film\, with its influence apparent in both Alien and The Shining.

Two loops of 5km with stunning views throughout.  \nTrust10 happens on the fourth Sunday of every month and includes two laps of a 5km route at Godolphin\, so 5km runners are welcome too. \nRegistration opens from 8.30am\, pre-run briefing is at 8.55am and the run starts at 9am. \nPlease note: Godolphin garden\, tea-room and outbuildings do not open until 10am. Toilets are open and available for use.

Poor Yorick”.​\n\nMixing the mundane with the magical; moments of banal idiocy are interspersed with ones of cinematic elegance to an underscore of groans\, grunts and the odd Shakespearean aside. The legendary independent theatre double act of Jon Haynes and John Gorick pull out every trick in their theatrical playbook to create a fresh take on Shakespeare’s much-loved clowns\, re-enacting all the preceding acts of the original and meticulously staging the famous graveyard scene in all its 420 year-old glory.
