DESCRIPTION:What is Man Down ??\nWe are here to help reduce the number of male suicides and reduce the stigma surrounding mental health by offering men the space to talk about their emotions. The main way we do this is by facilitating free-to-attend fortnightly informal talking group meetings held at locations all over the UK.\n\nWhat happens at Man Down Helston ??\nEvery two weeks on a Tuesday at 7pm we invite men to come along and talk about their mental health as part of a supportive talking group. By offering the chance to speak and listening to others\, together we break down the stigma associated with talking about our emotions. All attending agree to the sessions being a confidential\, non-judgemental and safe space to share. We also offer social meet ups and an online peer support group for those that have attended a face-to-face talking group meeting.

Those who are working\, keep going\, you can do it! \n\nWednesday’s are a super chilled day at Roll the Dice HQ: we have our make\, paint and chill session running from open (10) until 4pm\, allowing lots of time for people to drop in and catch up on their pile of potential. We do ask for £2 for the session to help cover the costs\, including our community paints.\nIn the afternoon we have our Beginner’s Pokémon TCG Session – this is perfect for anyone wanting to learn the game\, hone their deck building skills or perfect their battling technique. The session is £4 for 2 hours of Poke-fun!\n\nFinally\, this evening our Play! Pokemon TCG evening and our Lorcana evening return! Whilst these are official organised play evenings\, you are more than welcome to attend if you are a beginner player of either of these games – both communities are warm\, friendly and welcoming\, with players more than happy to help out those who are starting on their journey. The evening is £2 if you wish to just come and play\, or £6 if you want to grab a booster with the entry ticket.

Bolling was a prominent international jazz artist from France; he composed this crossover piece in 1973 and achieved instant success – 10 years on the best-selling album charts\, a Grammy nomination\, and follow-on commissions from some of the most prominent musicians in the world. \nJenny Farley\, Harriet Petherick Bushman\, Pip Harbon\, and Richard Bushman will perform this piece which explores the boundaries between classical music and jazz in a light-hearted and charismatic way.  \nKernow Chamber Players tour Cornwall with music and musical theatre productions.

DESCRIPTION:Paper making\, serpentine polishing\, woodworking\, clay\, tiny printing press\, large vegetable printing. \nLearn how to make your own plantable paper with seeds embedded\, create your own construction from wood\, or polish serpentine into a shiny pendant. You can also have a go on our tiny printing press or make an enormous vegetable print! \nDifferent activities are on offer at each CAST-Off session over the summer. Sessions will take place from 26 July to 23 August on Saturdays in the walled garden at National Trust Penrose – the what3words location for the walled garden is steepest.daydreams.boasted. There are also Lightbox sessions taking place at CAST on Tuesdays exploring techniques that underpin the processes of photography and moving image. \nAll the activities are free and offered on a drop-in basis\, no booking required. \nDonations to support this much-loved programme and enable it to keep running are always very welcome. \nParticipants of all ages are welcome. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult. \nWe won’t be put off by a bit of drizzle and hope you won’t either\, but check our social media on the day in case of extreme weather or last-minute changes. \nParking: \nWe recommend parking at the free Fairground car park in Helston and making your way along the footpaths to the walled garden. This route is tarmac all the way\, so well suited to pushchairs\, scooters\, and bikes. Please be aware the route is 2.4km / 1.5 miles\, with an approximate walk time of 45 minutes. \nFor those who need to get a little closer by car\, there is a small National Trust car park\, approximately 1km / 0.6 miles from the Walled Garden along the official paths. \nBus: \nIt is a 10 minute bus journey from Helston to Penrose on the U4\, which runs hourly between Falmouth and Penzance. Kirsty\, our qualified and experienced instructor\, is great at leading mixed-ability sessions. It’s the perfect chance to try yoga for the first time. \nHowever\, please note: \nIf you’re under the care of a doctor or medical professional\, speak with them before attending. \nIf you’ve been advised not to take part in physical activity\, are pregnant\, or have a medical condition\, illness\, or injury\, please do not take part in Yoga in the Park. \nKirsty cannot offer specific medical advice\, but she ensures plenty of accessible options during the session. \nYoga is a physical activity and you participate at your own risk. \nDo I need to book?No booking needed — just turn up! Two loops of 5km with stunning views throughout.  \nTrust10 happens on the fourth Sunday of every month and includes two laps of a 5km route at Godolphin\, so 5km runners are welcome too. \nRegistration opens from 8.30am\, pre-run briefing is at 8.55am and the run starts at 9am. \nPlease note: Godolphin garden\, tea-room and outbuildings do not open until 10am.
