For this event we are charging a small fee per ticket to cover our core costs. We are also offering a ticket draw for anyone unable to afford this at the moment.​ \n​ \n£5 All Ages TicketEveryone in your group will need to purchase a ticket (adults and children)​ \n​ \n£0 Show Ticket DrawIf you cannot afford a ticket right now please enter our free ticket draw. Trevow Helston will give away as many tickets as we are able to and we will inform you if you have won tickets a minimum of three days before the event. To enter the ticket draw please click here.  \n\n\nWhat do I need to know?\n​ \nThis event will be at Helston Old Chapel\, Meneage Road\, Helston\, TR13 8BH. \n\nThere is a large pay and display car park opposite the Helston Medical Centre\, Trelawney Rd\, Helston TR13 8AU. This is a 5-10 minute walk away. It is possible to drop-off and pick-up immediately outside the chapel building. \n\nRecommended for children aged 4+ and their families. \nFor this event the first few rows of pews will be reserved for children to ensure everyone can see. \n​ \nThere is level access from the tarmac path into the side door of the chapel. There is space inside the chapel for wheelchairs. The seating will be on pews. If we can support you at our event in other ways please contact us on guy@cousinjacks.org \n\nRefreshments will be available at this event. Card payments only. \n​ \nWe currently have limited facilities at our new venue. Please be aware that we will be using an accessible portaloo for this event. \n​ \nWe estimate a run time of approximately 50 minutes. \n​ \nThere will be no interval at this event. \n\nOur performances may be filmed or photographed and the material may be used by Trevow Helston\, its sister company Cousin Jack’s or the performance company at any time for evaluation\, promotion or other projects. Only ever register with parkrun once and don’t forget to bring a scannable copy of your barcode (request a reminder). If you forget it\, you won’t get a time. \n\n\n\nHow fast do I have to be?\n\n\n\nWe all take part for our own enjoyment. This year\, the festival focuses on the art of hand-drawn animation. \nExhibition: Early Animator Eddie RadageStep into the world of early animation and discover the remarkable work of Eddie Radage\, father of one of our very own volunteers. Eddie worked on iconic films from Yellow Submarine to The Snowman. \nFamily Fun Workshops\nLet your creativity shine at our FREE family-friendly workshops! These workshops are a fantastic way to explore different aspects of animation. \n\nMonday 17 February: Clay Model Making inspired by the iconic Morph 10.30am-12noon or 1-2.30pm\nTuesday 18 February: Create a Character Model Sheet with animator Keith Sparrow.10.30am-12noon or 1-2.30pm\nWednesday 19 February: Build your own puppets and bring them to life! 10.30am-12noon or 1-2.30pm\n\nPop-Up Screenings at the Museum\nEnjoy our FREE pop-up cinemas featuring a giant screen in the Drill Hall and additional screens in the schoolroom and toy shop. DESCRIPTION:Café Polyglot is a club for people who love foreign languages and would like to practise speaking them with other like-minded people. There are no fees and it is not necessary to be a good linguist; we have speakers at all levels from beginner to fluent. We cater for everyone who has an interest in speaking another language. \nOrganised by members of Helston and District Town Twinning Association\, there are opportunities to become involved in Helston’s twinning with Sasso Marconi and Plougasnou\, though this is entirely optional! \nThere are regular groups of French\, Italian\, and Spanish speakers\, though we’re always looking to include new languages\, so come along!
