The multi-award winning Will Keating\, who is also one of the members of popular Cornish male singing group The Oggymen\, has wowed audiences far and wide since embarking on a solo career. Two sold-out headline performances at the Iconic Minack Theatre\, cemented Wills reputation as one of Cornwall’s stand-out performers. Flexible Ticket Prices for Performances We understand things are challenging for many people.​To try and make the work that Trevow Helston programmes as accessible as possible we are offering three ticket prices for the show and a free ticket draw. Please book the ticket that reflects what you can afford right now. What do I need to know?​This event will take place at the Helston Old Chapel\, Meneage Road\, Helston\, TR13 8BH. There is a large pay and display car park opposite the Helston Medical Centre\, Trelawney Rd\, Helston TR13 8AU. This is a 5-10 minute walk away. It is possible to drop-off and pick-up immediately outside the chapel building.​There is level access from the tarmac path into the side door of the chapel. There is space inside the chapel for wheelchairs. The seating will be on pews. If we can support you at our event in other ways please contact us on hello@trevowhelston.co.uk A small pop-up bar will be available at this event. Card payments only.​We currently have limited facilities at our new venue. Please be aware that we will be using an accessible portaloo for this event.​​Due to the nature of the production\, latecomers cannot be admitted.​We estimate a run time of approximately 120 minutes plus interval. Our performances may be filmed or photographed and the material may be used by Trevow Helston\, its sister company Cousin Jack’s or the performance company at any time for evaluation\, promotion or other projects. DESCRIPTION:In the run up to Halloween it seems a fitting time to think about telling ghost stories. We are thrilled that Marie Macneill\, screen writer\, senior lecturer at Falmouth University (Film and Television)\, and co-editor of the recent collection 13 Cornish Ghost Stories\, has written a Helston ghost story for us.  \nCome and listen to Marie read the story and then join in a discussion about what makes a good ghost story – in particular a good Cornish ghost story. In Cornwall\, we have the open moors with their swirling mists\, the abandoned spaces underground and the rugged cliffs that snares ships. What else do we need to make a really good ghost story? \nThe talk will run for approximately 30 minutes. No advance booking is required for this event; it’s a drop-in session

To enter the ticket draw please click here.  \n\n\n\n\n\nWhat do I need to know?\n​ \nThis event will take place at the Helston Old Cemetery Chapel\, Meneage Road\, Helston\, TR13 8BH. \n\nThere is a large pay and display car park opposite the Helston Medical Centre\, Trelawney Rd\, Helston TR13 8AU. This is a 5-10 minute walk away. It is possible to drop-off and pick-up immediately outside the chapel building. \n​ \nThere is level access from the tarmac path into the side door of the chapel. There is space inside the chapel for wheelchairs. The seating will be on pews. If we can support you at our event in other ways please contact us on guy@cousinjacks.org \n\nA small pop-up bar will be available at this event. Card payments only. \n​ \nWe currently have limited facilities at our new venue. DESCRIPTION:Join us to learn the craft of seaweed pressing – a Victorian practice that captures the underwater beauty of seaweeds. \nDuring the workshop you will learn to recognise\, identify and forage local seaweed species. The cultural history of seaweeds will be discussed\, as well it’s agricultural\, scientific and ecological uses.\nWe will prepare a seaweed taster which showcases one of our favourite recipes.\nAfter laying out your designs they will be loaded into our seaweed press where they will dry over the next weeks in our studio. When they are ready we will send you your pressings in the post.
