DESCRIPTION:Join us at the museum on Tuesday 30 July at 2pm for a talk by Performer / Composer / Choir Leader / Piano Tuner / Bloke\, Seamas Carey. Carey will discuss the third and final instalment to his trilogy of work on Cornwall\, nationalism & identity. Following the success of The Reason Why podcast and the award winning live show Help! I Think I’m A Nationalist\, he will explain his motivations behind the resulting visual companion piece\, One & All Carey will describe the three year journey he went on to make this body of work – from early research\, undercover interviews\, collaborators\, angry audiences\, internet trolls and touring the UK with Cornish culture.” The talk will run for 30 minutes\, followed by a question and answer session. No advance booking is required for this event; it’s a drop-in session. Seamas’ exhibition\, ‘One and All’\, will be on at the museum from 25 July – 7 September 2024.
