This summer we are hosting the ‘Godolphin Games’\, meaning everyday will be a sports day\, with activities including archery\, badminton\, ring toss and crafts. There will many other fun filled activities going on such as hobby horses and tic-tac-toe for all the family to get involved with. Archery will take place on Wednesdays\, Fridays and Saturdays throughout the summer holidays\, from 10.30am-4pm. Summer of Play is sponsored by Starling Bank.

DESCRIPTION:Archaeologist Charles Johns talks about discoveries made at the site of Kynance Gate one of the ‘lost’ sites of Cornish archaeology. In the early 1950s a schoolboy found some pottery there. This led Headmaster\, Ivor Thomas\, from Landwednack School to carry out excavations between 1953 and 1963. Charlie will share his knowledge about this nationally important settlement with Bronze Age\, Iron Age and Romano-British finds.
