DESCRIPTION:What is Man Down ??\nWe are here to help reduce the number of male suicides and reduce the stigma surrounding mental health by offering men the space to talk about their emotions. The main way we do this is by facilitating free-to-attend fortnightly informal talking group meetings held at locations all over the UK.\n\nWhat happens at Man Down Helston ??\nEvery two weeks on a Tuesday at 7pm we invite men to come along and talk about their mental health as part of a supportive talking group. By offering the chance to speak and listening to others\, together we break down the stigma associated with talking about our emotions. All attending agree to the sessions being a confidential\, non-judgemental and safe space to share. We also offer social meet ups and an online peer support group for those that have attended a face-to-face talking group meeting.

She brings to life the challenging landscapes and people she meets\, and tests her limitations\, confronting her traumatic childhood\, unsuitable relationships and life-changing illness\, realising how much she needs community\, while pushing it away. When Covid forces her to lockdown in France\, we share her loneliness and determination\, as she waits it out and begins again\, crossing the Camino de Santiago\, and coming home to Wales. A life-changing walk for Ursula and for every reader who takes this journey with her.
