History: The Historic Reeve Ceremony at Godolphin

The Reeve Ceremony has been practised at Godolphin for hundreds of years on Candlemas . Join us for a live historical re-enactment of a fun, quirky and unique piece of Cornish history and discover how the Godolphin family nearly lost the house and family fortune in a snail race. There will be two dramatic performances by a local performer, Mark Harandon, and both will be signed by a BSL translator.

The first performance will be 11.30-12.00pm, and the second performance will be 13.00pm-13.30pm.
