DESCRIPTION:A one-off session exploring using coloured clay to make patterns and playful surfaces within the clay body. Attendees will form simple shapes from a variety of coloured clays and use these to make slabs from which simple forms such as dishes and bowls will be made. We will make two geometric patterns and our final piece will be a chance to play with the methods learnt. \n\nAfter the workshop we will finish the works and then glaze pieces with our transparent glaze. \nEach attendee will make up to three pieces. \nFor 18 years and over. \nWhat to bring? All tools and materials will be provided.
