We invite you to play\, explore and experiment as we look at all the elements of a story and help restore the lab to its full working order! \nEncounter colourful characters\, enchanting worlds and costumes galore and have fun creating your very own characters and stories. \nBooking preferred but drop-ins welcome. All ages welcome. \nThis event is part of Story Lab\, a week-long celebration of words and stories taking over Helston this May half term (23–30 May). Trevow Helston and The Writers’ Block are transforming the town into a living literary adventure — with workshops\, trails\, performances\, drop-ins and open mics popping up in venues right across town.

Lovecraft’s Cthulhu Mythos and The Magnus Archives\, ‘Secrets of the Hidden Realm’ is a surreal flight of fancy into a liminal world of magic and mystery. \n Cornwall is famous for its picturesque towns and beautiful beaches… but there is another Cornwall lurking below this sunny surface: the Cornwall of folklore and superstition\, of magic and myth\, of giants\, faeries\, mermaids\, demons\, ghosts and witches. This ‘Hidden Realm’ exists alongside our own\, in a parallel time and space\, invisible to mortals such as ourselves. The band comprising of two pairs of brothers and sisters have released five critically acclaimed albums to date including their self-titled Mercury Music Prize nominated\, million selling debut. \nAnyone who believes there are no second chances needs to be re-introduced to Ren Harvieu.Seven year after Through The Night\, her Top Five debut album\, having overcome a life-threatening injury on the eve of it’s release\, the darkly enigmatic Salford-born singer-songwriter returned with the critically acclaimed Revel in The Drama (Bella Union) a brilliant\, bolder and broader take on her unique pop classicism\, a compelling diary of struggle\, a release of pent-up tension and a celebration of liberation and survival. It should’ve been a celebration but as luck would again have it\, the world went into a global pandemic on the week of release. Timing is everything but Ren Harvieu is timeless as she is inspirational. \nSéamus Mckenna – Solo artist Séamus Mckenna has over a decade of experience in writing\, recording and performing. Through her Priestess training\, she has remembered the keys of Sacred Inner Union and guides others in the reclamation of sexuality as sacred. Her somatic approach is trauma-informed\, and grounded in the foundations of nervous system attunenement and embodied consent.
