Tucked away just round the corner from the Museum, this handsome late nineteenth-century former school building is now a nationally recognised centre for contemporary art.
The Cornubian Arts and Sciences Trust (CAST) is a hidden gem. Housing artists’ studios, the building plays host to a busy programme of arts events including film screenings, talks, workshops and creative activities for children and families.
Launching on Tuesday 4 August, CAST’s programme of creative activities for families will take place outdoors in summer 2020. Check out the CAST Events webpage for details.
Or pop in to the CAST building to see what’s happening this week and stop off at the wonderful cafe, serving delicious, locally sourced and seasonal food, with many vegetarian and vegan options.
