The Old Cattle Market

This community project provides a multi-use space within Helston’s Coronation Park, hosting regular markets, fairs and more.

The building consists of a large community hall, an adult day care centre and fully serviced office spaces for local businesses. You’ll often find regular markets, craft fairs, clubs and classes taking place here as well as one-off special events. It’s also a popular choice for business groups, weddings, concerts and conferences.

The construction of the Old Cattle Market building was a flagship project for the area, aimed at supporting the local food economy and small producers through the establishment of a regular farmers’ market venue as well as providing growth space for local businesses and community space for the town.

Situated next to the Boating Lake in Helston, the Old Cattle Market offers ample parking and is within easy walking distance of many local amenities.
