The perfect first baby group for you and your baby! For babies from 6 weeks to pre-crawling.
Come along to this friendly and relaxed 5 week course, meet other parents and learn proven techniques to aid your baby’s development and strengthen the bond between you.
Time to chat and a cuppa and biscuits included! 😊

Tuesdays: 16th, 23rd, 30th April & 7th, 14th May
Time: 09.30 – 10.45am

Instructions
Parking: Parking is available outside the front of Nansloe Primary School. To access Helston Family Hub, from the front entrance of Nansloe School, walk through the school gates and follow the walk-way (with the tall green fencing) which runs along the left hand side of Nansloe School next to their Nursery.
On arrival at Helston Family Hub:
Please sign-in at the front desk, you will be directed to our room. Due to limited space in the room, please park your buggy outside The Hub, under the canopy.
What to bring / wear:
- Please bring a large soft towel each week that can be folded in half and used to lay your baby on.
- Organic Baby Massage Oil will be provided, this is natural and safe to use on baby’s skin. However, if you wish, you are welcome to bring your own Massage Oil instead. (Please ensure that you have done a patch test when using any new product on your baby’s skin).
- Please bring your usual changing / feeding bag.
- I recommend you dress in loose / stretchy, comfortable clothing to sit on the floor with your baby.
- For your first session, I would recommend baby’s top half is clothed, nappy on, legs and feet are undressed. As the weeks progress and baby gets used to being massaged, you can remove more, or all of their clothing for their massage if you and baby would like!
Our course is friendly, relaxed, informal and totally baby led. You are welcome to move around our room and feed and change your baby as needed.
Patch Test: Please visit our venue, Helston Family Hub at least 24 hours in advance of our course starting for your baby’s patch test. The ladies at the front desk will give you a little of the Massage Oil that will be used in our sessions to test on your baby’s skin. This is a very gentle, organic and natural massage oil, but please do let me know if your baby’s skin has any reaction to this.
- Missed sessions, cancellations & illness: Unfortunately, I am unable to offer credits or refunds for missed sessions, cancellations, even if they are due to illness or other unfortunate circumstances.
If I am unwell, and unable to run a session, I will endeavour to reschedule the session on an alternative date.
