Hurrah for Hats – A romp through our hat store

Taking the the theme of accessories that are made from withy and grown materials this is a chance to see some of the collection that is rarely on display . This exploration will be guided by Andrea Newall our costume curator and you are invited to join in this discussion by bringing along a hat that has a special significance for you made from grown materials to share with others at this event.

This talk is part of Helston Makes It! a week-long annual celebration of makers and craft. This year, the festival celebrates trades and crafts with a link to withy and grown materials to tie in with our new exhibition Withy Lore ( 12th September – 1st November).
