What is Get Folk’d?
“Grassroots Music is where it all begins”
In 2024 Seamus McKenna set up his own promotions company – “Get Folk’d!” in response to the decrease in opportunities for local grassroots artists to perform ticketed events – “There are too many incredible musicians out there who don’t have enough opportunities to play proper shows, instead they find themselves stuck in the corner of a pub, mostly ignored, whilst the football plays in the background”. Get Folk’d was set up to counter this and provide artists the stage and audience they deserve. So far they have been a huge success collaborating with renowned grassroots venues such as The Cornish Bank, The Fish Factory, Shoals Brewery, Carnglaze caverns and many more. Sam Glazebrook
Samuel Glazebrook is a multi-instrumentalist singer songwriter / producer. When he’s not playing mandolin and percussion in Roo Panes’ band, he writes and records music from his self built cabin in Cornwall, UK.
His rhythmic style of acoustic guitar, and introspective lyrics draw you in to listen closely with melodies that will stick in your head.

Callum Kenworthy
Callum Kenworthy is an alt folk artist based in Falmouth, Cornwall. Working quietly and mostly out of sight, he makes guitar led music that values space, feel and careful listening, favouring atmosphere and restraint over unnecessary noise.
