A Woman Moved (rehearsed reading)

Thursday 9 April @ 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm
£5.00

A Woman Moved (rehearsed reading) Written by Richard Curnow and produced by What Now Productions

During a fierce westerly storm, Michael is swept off Mullion harbour wall.

His wife, Jennifer, discovers why he’s always been so keen to exclude her from his social life.

Celia, a devoted amdram diva, discovers her psychic abilities aren’t as accurate as she’d once thought.

Barry has always known life is complicated.

A WOMAN MOVED explores the consequences of feeling unable to be true to oneself. Empathy, the acceptance of otherness and the ability to forgive are all ways of moving on. Oh, and having a good laugh also helps!

This event is a rehearsed reading, which means the actors will still have scripts and may perform some scenes seated. There will be an opportunity to be involved in the development of the show and provide feedback to the performers and writer in a Q&A after the reading.

A Woman Moved is written by Trevow Helston regular, Richard Curnow. Richard, performed our very first “tester show”, Call Me Oz in 2024 and has brought several performances to us since, including his series of solo shows based on Shakespearean characters, Naming the View and Not Just For Christmas.
