From Wales to Ukraine and back again.
Ursula is embarking on a walking book tour to celebrate the release of her new book One Woman Walks Europe.
In this epic test of stamina and will, 5500 miles over 2 years, Ursula starts in Kyiv and crosses Ukraine, Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia, Croatia, Slovenia, Italy, France, Spain and the UK. She brings to life the challenging landscapes and people she meets, and tests her limitations, confronting her traumatic childhood, unsuitable relationships and life-changing illness, realising how much she needs community, while pushing it away. When Covid forces her to lockdown in France, we share her loneliness and determination, as she waits it out and begins again, crossing the Camino de Santiago, and coming home to Wales. A life-changing walk for Ursula and for every reader who takes this journey with her.
