Wood Carving Demonstration

Cornwall Wood Carvers join us to demonstrate the skills of wood carving and share their knowledge of this ancient art form. There will be an opportunity to ‘have a go’ at whittling or carving for adults.

This is a free drop-in session, so come in anytime between 10am and 1pm.

This demonstration is part of Helston Makes It! a week-long annual celebration of makers and craft. This year, the festival celebrates trades and crafts with a link to withy and grown materials to tie in with our new exhibition Withy Lore ( 12th September – 1st November).
