Jackie Taylor is a writer of short fiction, poetry, creative non-fiction and hybrid work who has lived in South East Cornwall for the past thirty years. Her short story collection, Strange Waters, was published by Arachne Press in 2021, with one of the stories receiving a Pushcart Prize nomination.

Other recent publishing credits include Mslexia, Inkfish, and SPELT magazines, and the Cornwall in Short anthology. Jackie holds an MLitt in Creative Writing (with Distinction) from the University of Glasgow, and she is a member of the 2025/26 WordSpace talent development scheme for new voices from the South West, supported by Literature…
